Where each system goes, what it connects to, and what to have ready before an authorized representative sets it up.
Where the unit will live
Every Leveluk ionizer in this catalogue is a countertop machine that connects to an existing kitchen tap. It needs a flat, dry surface beside the sink, within reach of both the tap and a power outlet, with room for the flexible pipe to hang over the basin.
Plan the space from the unit's own footprint rather than by eye — the difference between the compact model and the high-capacity one is most of a chopping board.

The tap connection
An ionizer does not replace your tap; it works alongside it. A diverter fits to the tap, and a lever on that diverter sends water either out of the tap as normal or through the machine. On the K8 nothing is produced until that lever is set to the processed-water position — a detail confirmed against the K8 operation manual.
Tap threads and spout shapes vary, so the fitting used is settled at the time of installation rather than in advance. A photograph of your kitchen tap is usually enough for an authorized Enagic representative to tell you what is needed.
Power
Each ionizer runs from an ordinary household outlet and draws modest power: 230 W on the K8, which ships with a worldwide multi-voltage supply, 200 W on the Super 501 and 120 W on the Jr. IV. Position the unit so its cable reaches an outlet without crossing the sink or running through standing water.
Feed water
The machine treats the water your tap already delivers, so what it is fed matters. On the K8 the feed water must stay below 35 °C, and hot water must never be sent through the unit. That limit is stated in the K8 operation manual.
No comparable figure is verified here for the other models, and this site will not invent one. Before connecting any other unit to a mixer tap or a heated line, confirm the permitted feed-water temperature in that unit's own manual.
Who installs it
Installation is normally arranged with the authorized Enagic representative you purchased through, and it is worth doing together: the diverter, the first run of the machine and the initial settings are all covered in a single visit.
